As a result of major mandatory work required by our local Fire Department to upgrade the Georgian Shores Seniors Club in Balm Beach, we recently submitted invitations for tender to a number of local contractors. John DeCarli submitted a reasonable and thorough quote to do the required work as well as arranging a schedule for the work to be done in a time frame that would accommodate the schedule of our active club. John and his staff completed the work on time and within budget and in a professional manner. Our 54 year old cottage on Georgian Bay was in need of a major renovation. We chose DeCarli Contractors for the job and we couldn’t be happier with the entire building process, and especially, the final result. DeCarli is a full service contractor, employing the very best of the local trades. As well, a knowledgeable foreman and crew were on site everyday until completion of our reno, which lasted 7 months. We first met John DeCarli at the Midland Home Show in 2011 and it was his value statements and ethics that attracted us. And he did not disappoint . John did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. He was always respectful, and thorough in his work. He gave excellent advice on design options. The quality of the work by John and his employees is remarkable. John presents everything, including all costs, up front in a line by line format. He does not leave his clients guessing . Ours was a major renovation project including the tearing down of load bearing walls. The result was a totally open concept encompassing the kitchen, dining and living room. His recommendation to use aqua timber was a god send. Our balcony was converted to a beautiful sitting and viewing room as a seamless extension to the main room. We were so pleased with this project, we decided on an extensive makeover of our bedroom and en-suite bathroom which was completed in November 2012..In summary, not only a job well done but also with no cost overrun. We now have our dream home.

We purchased a real fixer upper in a beautiful location in Midland. Our intention was to turn it into our forever home. We were looking to build our dream cottage and being from Toronto we needed a contractor we could really trust. In the end, they were on budget, on time, fully transparent, quality exceeded our expectations and an absolute pleasure to work with. Most importantly, they earned a level of trust with our family from start to finish that we will use DeCarli for all other projects we have. Frankly, I have no idea why you would not want to use DeCarli on any project.
