We start by meeting in person to discuss your renovation vision and answer your questions. With enough conceptual information, we’ll determine if we can meet your needs in terms of budget and schedule, and explain how DeCarli Contractors can add value to your project.

2. Detailed Estimate

In our second meeting, we discuss your project in greater detail. We don’t need every specification, but we define general parameters to provide you with a detailed, well-contemplated estimate. Bring photos, notes, sketches, and organized thoughts so we can refine your concept and provide clarity on where renovation costs come from.

3. Design & Finishing Specifications

Our BCIN-certified designers and in-house finishing experts work with you to create construction plans and finishing schedules using 3D modeling and interior rendering software. We gather samples and product information, presenting curated choices based on your aesthetic tastes and budget to make this process as easy as possible.

4. Fixed-Price Quotation

With designs complete, we produce our fixed-price, inclusive quotation that details your entire renovation with approximately 300 line items in chronological order. The price quoted is the price you pay—no surprises.

5. Construction Schedule

We build a realistic construction schedule involving trades, materials, and project stages. Our schedules are achievable, so our renovations tend to finish on time.

6. Construction

We’re on-site every day until completion, keeping you informed with phone calls, visits, and live video walk-throughs. Well-informed clients make for the smoothest renovations.

7. Handover

During our final walk-through, we explain your renovation’s features and functions, plus general maintenance needs. We return after one year for a full inspection and address any follow-up requirements.
