DeCarli Contractors have been our go-to specialists from day one - whether a small job such as exterior painting or larger jobs such as new hardwood flooring, refinishing the basement living spaces, replacing all interior doors and trim etc. - all projects were completed by John and his team in a professional and timely manner - you can depend on DeCarli Contractors to finish the job to your satisfaction and that is why they are the only contractor we have absolute faith in

John and the whole team at DeCarli Contractors are great! I've worked with John on numerous projects over the last 10 years and I've always been impressed with not only his teams workmanship but also how pleased his customers are with his teams work, every time. I've used DeCarli Contractors at our house a couple of times and really appreciate their attention to detail, timeliness and transparency throughout every project. I wouldn't use or recommend anyone else.

We have been utilizing the services of DeCarli Contracting for over 15 years. During that time they have undertaken a variety of projects large and small, including a roof extension, a dock and deck replacement, a cold storage room renovation and a host of other projects.
All projects have been completed timely, with the highest quality of materials and workmanship, and within budget.
John's team are skilled tradespersons delivering professional quality work.
John is innovative in his approach to situations and is easily reachable to discuss and resolve any related issues if they may arise.

We have never worked with a better contractor team. John and his team completed a major renovation on our entire cottage during 2022-2023. The organization and scheduling of all the work and subcontractors was efficient and timely. The quality of the work was first class, including improving or re-doing work where we were happy as clients, but John wasn’t satisfied as the contractor. The attention to detail and desire for perfection was impressive and comforting. John and team often recommended cost saving measures, but also respectfully suggested appropriate upgrades and ideas that added tremendous value and utility to our project. John’s accounting and reporting on all financial matters was also comforting – timely spreadsheets detailed with labour, materials and all associated invoices and other relevant backup. Finally, following project completion he has been attentive and responsive to follow-ups to ensure that we are thrilled with our new cottage. We would not work with a contractor other than John.

We have been customers of DeCarli Contractors for more than a decade. As opposed to a major build, we have invited them to our home for many smaller projects - to build a wooden deck and gazebo on our waterfront; to rebuild a second story balcony; a full bathroom redesign and build; and most recently to install a complete wall-to-wall window unit in our great room. But the project that really sold me on their commitment to quality and care was the installation of our poured concrete patio. The original pour had some minor color variances that may have faded over time. As opposed to advising us to "live with it", the DeCarli team on their own initiative decided it was not good enough, removed the first patio and replaced it - all at their own expense.
Can't say enough about the DeCarli team.

John and his crew did a very extensive renovation on our lake home in the Muskokas during Covid. Not an ideal time to renovate for sure but we were already into when the pandemic started. While we had many supply chain issues John and his team rose to the occasion time and time again. Our place is fabulous. We’ve recommended them to close friends on our lake and they did a fabulous job there as well. DeCarli Contractors do good work and more importantly will always make right any issues ongoing

Excellent experience working with John DeCarli. He is very professional, honest, and trustworthy and was very generous with his time for our project. What started out as a discussion about a minor renovation evolved into basically a new build cottage. The quality of work is excellent, and all of the trades used by DeCarli were really professional. I would definitely recommend DeCarli Contractors.
